Increasing MiCollab Capacity

Mitel has recently announce a new update on MiCollab capacity with the 9.8 software update, by reducing OPEX on MiCollab to supporting more users.

You can now support up to 7500 users per MiCollab server on MiVoice Business.

This will help lower TCO, by maximizing your server investments, simplify deployments, and increase admin experience.

Mitel has also improved OPEX for virtual desktop environments by optimizing media transport.

The initial release supports VMWare Horizon environment on call managers.

This will help lower TCO by increasing the number of MiCollab clients per host and supports 75 MiCollab web client users per physical host.

Other VIDs being considered for future will be Citrix and Webex.
